It’s really good to have a laugh. It’s also really great to share a laugh with friends, family and your partner. It’s infectious. Bonus it improves your health too. Laughing draws people together in ways that trigger healthy physical and emotional changes in your body. It has some great health benefits and strengthens your immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress. Anyway, it’s good to laugh. And it’s definitely true what they say – laughter is the best medicine.
That’s what is a great trait in a relationship too. Sam and I always have a good laugh. He won’t admit that I’m the funnier one, but we have this great ability to turn any situation on its head with laughter. Everyone needs a good belly laugh but if something not so great is happening or the other is down or whatever, we can make each other smile easily.
It’s nice that our humour and laughter is one of the keys to the happiness in our relationship. It almost strengthens it, amongst other things, like talking, that also helps a lot, but a good smile and a laugh is a bonus in any relationship.
Thanks for making me smile Sam. Xx
