Whatever we’re doing and wherever we are doing it, Emily loves to explore. She’s an adventurer, an eager explorer wanting to know everything, why, what it is and how she can play or be part of it. Don’t be fooled by her statue, she may be only 18 months but she knows what she wants and how to get it.
It terrifies me how fearless she is as she hurls herself off things, climbs and scales walls at soft play without an inch of worry attached, whilst my heart climbs higher and higher up into my throat. I suppose it’s normal. She’s enjoying every moment, breathing everything in as she has fun taking part in her new adventure. Maybe my nerves will start to calm down as she grows up. Well, maybe.
