If, like me you’ve been to Kaspa’s in Broadstairs, you’ll know what the fuss is all about. Kaspa’s are a chain of exciting new dessert houses that offer the world’s favourite hot and cold desserts under one roof. Their emphasis is on high quality desserts, good customer service and an overall amazing dining experience for their customers. The American style ice cream and Waffle House is hugely popular in Broadstairs Westwood across and if you’ve been, you’ll know why.
Looking at reviews online, people who have shared pictures on social channels and the many many reviews left on TripAdvisor, you’ll agree how great the place is and why it’s popular with all ages.
Last Tuesday I went to Kaspa’s with my friend Emma for a very overdue catch up over a big old cup of tea and our favourite waffles. We both went for the same waffles as before but who cares, it was delicious. Stupidly, I ate before I came out. Which meant I couldn’t eat the whole of my waffle, which was just a dumbass decision. Emma didn’t and ate the whole of hers, enjoying every mouthful.
The staff were accommodating, very friendly and polite, and for a Tuesday evening it was pretty busy. You can see why it’s so popular. This place is great for deserts. They have a huge range of flavours of ice cream, plenty and I mean plenty of waffle and crêpes on offer, not to mention the huge range of milkshakes and hot and cold drinks, oh and cakes, did I mention cakes?
Sweet treat heaven!
It is serious sugar overload.
I wouldn’t recommend taking your children here in the evening if you plan on having them in bed by a certain time!
I bought the strawberry delight waffle, which is a fresh waffle so to strawberry slices, drizzled with mouthwatering strawberry syrup and I had whipped cream, but should have gone for the ice cream. It’s a rather large size for £5.95 and some may complain the place is expensive, but considering the size of what’s on offer and everything being made onsite, it’s not that expensive!
Emma went for the strawberry indulgence waffle, which is a fresh waffle served with strawberry slices, drizzled with melted chocolate sauce and sprinkled with milk chocolate flakes. That’s just £6.50.
With my waffle I went for a large cup of tea and bought a slice of cake for Sam to takeout. My 3 items came to £11.50 which isn’t bad at all. A rather cheap evening if you ask me!
This is my second visit to Kaspa’s and I definitely want to come here again, next time with Sam and Emily as a little trip. Wonder what dessert he’ll go for?
