There are a few great soft play areas in Ramsgate, some easily accessible by transport, others not particularly big and the rest are borderline extortionate in price. I had heard of the soft play area at the Wyevale Garden Centre in Ramsgate, but because it was a little far from me, I never went, until I met a friend a few weeks ago, who highly recommended it.
I wish I had gone sooner to the garden centre as there’s so much within, including a ‘The Works’ shop, which I didn’t even know was in Ramsgate, but to have a soft play area and a lovely, although expensive, restaurant onsite too is great. The soft play area in Ramsgate is a little small, that suits all ages up to 8 years of age. The centre donates 23p to their charity partners every time a wristband is sold and if you’re a member The Garden Club you get a special discount. Their soft play areas are available at participating garden centres during restaurant opening hours.
Like it’s all soft play areas I tend to avoid them during public holidays and busy times, but if you go here around 9am or just after lunch, you can sit inside the play area on one of the 4 tables, drink your hot or cold drink, eat cake and watch your children have fun.
